EVI seeks to improve the instruction and learning models of education through the application of innovative learning technologies. This can be accomplished by combining the best technologies with the best current pedagogical practices.
Our current efforts are concentrated in:
- Exploring collaborative learning approaches, including Team-Based Learning (TBL)
- Accelerating the application of effective learning theories in the classroom
- Technology’s role in enhancing feedback and generating modified instructional content
- Observing how the use of data analytics is dependent on the technology platform
- Improving learning methodologies and tools (LMS)
- Using data analytics to detect learning misconceptions and knowledge gaps
