  • Provided executive level professional services to a variety of business entities
  • Served as interim Opinion Editor at the Deseret News

CEO and other Management Positions, Netrix, Inc. (1992-2000)

  • This early-stage startup was a top-ranked INC. 100 firm in 1992, focused on wide-area networking and a leader in voice-data integration (precursor to Voice over IP).
  • Named President and CEO in 1997 and successfully navigated the company through a difficult downturn in its business.
  • Negotiated supplier agreements with large multi-nationals including Motorola and Siemens.

Director, Data General Corporation (1989-1992)

  • Responsible for Product Management of all Health Care products in Special Systems Division of Data General, with a focus on large Hospital Information Systems.
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving customer complaints regarding product performance and operations, as well as formulating product development roadmap, pricing, and support strategy.

Founder, LICOM, Inc. (1984-1989)

  • Co-founder of a fiber optic communications firm backed by venture capital.
  • Active in negotiating the legal arrangements for the initial seed financing, and the subsequent first round of permanent financing.
